Rules
animalbid.lol is a public leaderboard. There are no ads and no algorithm. You pay to put your pet above everyone else's. Rank is the bid. nothing else. You are buying visibility on the board, not making a donation. All payments are final and non-refundable. No returns. digital visibility is delivered immediately when payment clears.
How ranking works
- New listings are whole US dollars, $5 minimum, $1 at a time. Bids already on the board keep their amount until they raise or get outranked.
- Taking #1 costs at least $5 more than the current top bid. Paying less still puts you on the board at whatever rank that bid can take. Equal bids stay in the order they were placed. the older bid keeps the higher rank.
- Enter the same pet name again to raise that listing to any rank. The new bid must be at least $1 above your current bid; you only pay the difference. Someone else cannot take your rank by paying that difference.
- Names are matched without case or accents, so “Médor” and “medor” are the same listing. Pick a name you can remember. it is how you raise your bid later.
What you can list
- A real animal: one photo, a name, and one line about them.
- The photo has to be of the animal. No logos, no products, no screenshots, and no people as the main subject. A hand or person holding the pet is fine if the pet fills the frame.
- Nothing cruel, gory, or NSFW. If it would upset a vet, it does not belong on the board.
- No promo copy pretending to be a pet, and no chat or invite links. Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord and similar. The board is for pets, not group chats.
- An X or Instagram handle is the only link a listing can carry, and it points at the owner, not a product.
After you pay
- Your listing is public: photo, name, one line, rank, and click count.
- A completed payment is what claims the rank. Nothing is reserved before that.
- Payments run through Polar. animalbid.lol never sees, handles, or stores card numbers, bank details, or any other payment credentials. if this site were compromised, no banking data would be here to leak. You are buying visibility on the board, not making a donation.
- Listings that break these rules are removed without a refund.
Refunds and returns
- Every payment is final. We do not offer refunds, returns, or partial credits.
- There is no right of withdrawal once checkout completes. your listing or sponsor slot is delivered immediately.
- Being outranked, changing your mind, or a listing removed for breaking the rules does not entitle you to a refund.
- Sponsor slots run for the booked period whether or not you later edit your copy. no refunds for unused time.
Where the money goes
- You are buying visibility on the board, not making a donation.
- Each month, a portion of our revenue goes to charities.
- Donations are sent monthly. not held indefinitely.
- Beneficiaries are vetted for transparency and ethics: registered charities with clear finances and real work on the ground, not opaque or shady organisations.
- The rest keeps the board online: hosting, payments, and the work behind the scenes.
